The Productivity Diet Plan

Facilitator-led interactive diet and nutrition workshop

Improve productivity and performance through better nutrition.

Most businesses and people think about productivity solely from an action-oriented perspective. They often forget or are not aware of the much broader role nutrition plays in productivity. Chances are have heard the old adage, “you are what you eat.” The idea is that everything you eat affects the way your body functions and how it performs. When you eat healthily, your body processes the nutrients and maximizes them for optimal energy. Poor nutrition, often in the form of empty calories does not give you the energy you need. Productivity and overall well-being suffer as a result of poor nutrition. Another way to understand the link between productivity and diet is to examine how poor nutrition affects your workday.

Poor dietary habits can lead to:
  • Fatigue
  • Decreased mental effectiveness
  • Irritability
  • Lower energy levels
  • Reduced ability to think clearly
  • Higher levels of stress and depression
  • Decreased productivity

According to Brown University, adults who are in better health are able to work longer and achieve higher incomes over their lifetimes. The Productivity Diet Plan is more than just a workshop, together with The Productivity Diet Plan Challenge, it forms a mindset and philosophy that will aid participants in every area of their life.
