Workshop Overview:

This interactive facilitator-led workshop uses the word ‘RESPECT’ as an acronym to present a set of timely principles that collectively form a powerful course of action for change in the way participants view their mental and physical health and well-being.

The 7 habits are:
  1. Responsibility
  2. Education
  3. Say No
  4. Peers
  5. Expectations
  6. Consequences
  7. Time

Participants will gain a greater understanding of how they can take control and responsibility of their health. Participants will also learn some key strategies that they can use to take better control of their mental and physical well-being. Participants will also gain a greater understanding of how expectations and self-esteem has a powerful influence on how they manage their weight and also their mental and physical well-being. Participants will also gain a greater understanding of the consequences of their food, exercise and lifestyle choices have on their weight and also their mental and physical well-being.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Develop a greater understanding of the how personal choices affect their health and well-being
  • Develop a greater understanding of how food affects their mind body and thinking
  • Learn new strategies to take better control of their health and well-being
  • Develop action points on how they will improve their physical and mental well-being
