Be Kind To Yourself, is an interactive workshop that provides practical solutions to how we can be kinder to ourselves.

It would take a fairly hardhearted person to argue that kindness isn’t a good thing. Kindness is sometimes embedded in the company culture, where employees are advised to be kind to clients and other employees. This make business sense.

Yet, when it comes to being kind to ourselves, most of us are downright terrible at it. When we make a mistake, we say nasty things to ourselves that we’d never say to a stranger, let alone a close friend. We berate ourselves for small failings and ruminate on our shortcomings. What’s more, the way we criticize and judge ourselves is actually damaging to our mental health — it leads to depression, anxiety, and poor performance at work.

If you think about it, we’ll have more conversations with ourselves than we will ever have with anyone else. If they aren’t kind, how will we find happiness, peace, and connection?

– Workshop Overview:

This interactive facilitator-led workshop engages participants in a two-way conversation about the issues of kindness and forgiveness and how these two qualities can improve well-being and productivity. Using a style that includes presenting, questioning and the sharing of personal experiences. Some of the topic this workshop includes are:

  • Why we find it hard to be kind to ourselves
  • How we sabotage ourself with destructive behaviour?
  • Subtle ways we sabotage ourselves and how to recognise and stop them
  • Tools and techniques to help develop self kindness
  • How self-kindness improves productivity
  • How self-kindness improves self-esteem
  • How self-kindness improves business and personal relationships
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Develop a greater understanding of  they can be kinder to themselves
  • Develop a ‘Be Kind To Yourself’ action plan
